== How do I set up recording various wind speeds in Cumulus, with Oregon Scientific WMR88and La stationCrosse model?stations ==

ThisLa Crosse and some Oregon Scientific weather stationstations only outputsoutput a single wind speed. To allow Cumulus to calculate 'gust' and 'wind speed' with different values, select the '''Station''' dialogue from the ''Configuration'' menu and set '''Calculate 10 min wind average''', so the 10-minute average (calculated from the station 'Wind' values) is reported for 'wind speed' and the highest of those values over the previous 10 minutes is reported as 'Gust'. In [[cumulus.ini]] this will produce the parameter 'Wind10MinAverage=1.
