My monthly and/or annual rainfall totals are wrong
The monthly and annual rainfall totals are calculated from thetoday's dailyrain totalstotal in Dayfiletoday.txtini. So you need to stop Cumulus and edit the daily totals untilin your monthly and annual totals are correctDayfile.txt. Alternatively, youThere canis usea thebuilt built-in dayfile.txt editor tofor amendToday's the daily totals, and then restart Cumulus to get the monthly and annual totals recalculatedrain. The format of the dayfile.txt file is in the help file, in the section “Data log file format”, or here. If you need to, you can specify a year-to-date totaledit to add in for the period up to the point where you started using Cumulus, so that your first year’s total is correct. This is on the Station Configuration screen. Note that today's rain total so far also forms part of the monthly and annual total; you can amend that if necessary by using the built-in editor.it:
* Optionally stop Cumulus and use an external editor to edit the daily totals in dayfile.txt until your monthly and annual totals are correct.
* Alternatively, you can use the built-in dayfile.txt editor to amend the daily totals.

If you need to, you can specify a year-to-date total to add in for the period up to the point where you started using Cumulus, so that your first year’s total is correct. This is on the Station Configuration screen.

In all cases then restart Cumulus to get the monthly and annual totals recalculated.

If you know roughly when the rogue rainfall was recorded, find it in the monthly_log_files, field 11 is the count used to derive the stored daily rainfall total, taking its gain in value at the log just before rollover time.
