MQTT (Message Queuing Telemetry Transport) is a machine-to-machine (M2M), also known as "Internet of Things", connectivity protocol.
This section was introduced by release 3.5.0 (build 3071), it was rewritten from 3.12.0 - BUT DOCUMENTATION WAS INCOMPLETE FOR EARLIER RELEASES ANYWAY - NOW IT NEEDS ANOTHER REWRITE
