Started using Cumulus 1.9.2 (build 1017) just because I wanted something that ''would produce web pages that I could experiment with'' (as I had decided to learn HTML 5, JavaScript, jQuery, PHP and MySQL; initially because I thought it gave me a saleable skill for my retirement). People described me as "Stupid Fool with Weather Station" and that made me register as SFWS! To thank Steve Loft, I agreed to finish off work started by others on documenting the original Cumulus software.

For a few years, as a full-time carer, I was away from home (and weather station), and (as a way to unwind from those tiring emotionally and physically) I learnt about '''METAR usage in all countries of world'''.

When I got back to my home, after the last of my relatives died, I became busy with outside pursuits, abandoning usage of any computer.

When I decided to test out MX, I documented my experience and later documented my swap to Raspberry pi. Both Wiki pages, were done in odd moments in my busy life, and would benefit from someone else making them easier to follow.
I have moved twice since, so packing up, home-hunting, and subsequently unpacking plus home renovation made me take another break from running weather station and from working on this Wiki.

I eventually brought a property with garden, which had been neglected by elderly previous owner, where I hope to see out my days. Consequently, the property required a lot of remedial work to bring it back to being a home! The Covid-19 pandemic has made my plan to employ contractors to remedy the serious faults, leaving me to struggle alone.

The newer features of MX are irrelevant to me, so someone else will need to finish off the MX documenting.
