=Optional actions= An alternative way to load Cumulus MX onto a Raspberry Pi is by using docker, it may not be kept up to date but there is such a package at [https://github.com/magimat/rpi-cumulusmx rpi-cumulusmx] Any novice can stop reading now, as preceding sections have covered all you need to do to use a Raspberry Pi (or other Unix-based device) to run MX.
